Another Annual-ish Entry

Just another entry to keep my Xanga account alive. Why? I have no idea.

See you next year.

Annual Entry

Not sure that my entries here will now be done annually ... it just looks that way now. Not much else to say. Just enjoying the summer.

Yesterday ... I Smiled

I had a new student walk into class yesterday.

"What's your name?"

"Isadora."

I immediately thought, "Da vaultz. Da Cha." I smiled at a happy memory.

She came in through Isadora, and brightened my day for while.

This bit of verse was mentioned in a book I'm reading (though wrongly attributed to another author). It makes me smile.

Jenny kiss'd me when we met,
  Jumping from the chair she sat in;
Time, you thief, who love to get
  Sweets into your list, put that in!
Say I'm weary, say I'm sad,
  Say that health and wealth have miss'd me,
Say I'm growing old, but add,
  Jenny kiss'd me.
